How far do you live from the Beach?

I live 10 minutes from Mertville here which is like a small cove its real nice but for a bigger beach its about 2 hrs

i live in the middle of england so i live no where near any beaches

I live about 30 minutes away from the great lakes. They have really nice sandy beaches in the summer. And they have sand dunes if you go a little inland from the beach. The dunes are fenced off though , so I have to hop the fence to get in them.

it must suck not be able to go to the beach skore

Not really, but I still do. Last year, I was wandering around, and I found ice under the sand in this one part. It was cold hard ice. It confused me so much cause it was summer. But I figured out that it was the ice sheets pushed off the lake in the winter, and as the snow melted on the dunes, sand washed over them and burried them.

Am about an hour from NW England coast by car, so dont go very often! Used to live 10 minutes from beach a couple of years ago. Didnt go that often then either!
